Large Format & Poster Printing

Eventgroove uses state-of-the-art Mimaki inkjet printing technology with remarkable results. This amazing machine can print up to 1440 DPI, resulting in unbelievable colour matches, sharp lines, and vibrant images.

If you plan on designing a poster at its finished size, it is ideal to have the images and file saved at 300 DPI to ensure high-quality production at 100% of size. If you submit a 216mm x 291mm or 291mm x 436mm document to be enlarged, please make sure that the images are saved at 300 DPI or better.

If you’re sending a design at its finished size, please send PDF files to ensure optimal results. Your own artwork for posters and banners is accepted as a JPG, GIF, TIF, EPS, INDD, or AI.

You can send 216mm x 291mm or 291mm x 436mm files and we will be happy to enlarge them for you provided the original file’s resolution is good enough. In an effort to keep your poster or banner proportional, your finished prints may differ slightly from what our standard sizes dictate. If your posters are going in a space where exact sizing is required, please contact us and we will do our best to accommodate.

We save all files for five years after printing. If you need reprints, just let us know. There will be no need to resend the original file.

You can proof your poster two ways: electronically through email or we can send an actual 291mm x 436mm proof. The electronic proof is the fastest way to get your posters. The posted proof will add to the overall processing time. It will be printed on the same paper and machine that your posters will be running on.
